Houston's New Dancehall Is Here

The wait is officially over for Houston dance enthusiasts! The newly opened Cowboys Red River Dance Hall and Saloon in Southwest Houston is ready to welcome you to a Texas-sized experience of two-stepping fun. Located in Plazamericas, this sprawling 37,000 square foot venue includes a massive 2,500-square-foot ‘race-track’ dance floor designed specifically for popular country dance styles. Whether you prefer to line dance, two-step, or simply enjoy the vibrant atmosphere with friends, Cowboys Red River promises a little something for everyone.

A Texas Tradition Expanding to Houston

As part of a cherished Texas tradition, Cowboys Red River marks the third location for this renowned dance hall, following two well-established venues in Dallas and San Antonio. The Vice President and COO, Scott Murphy, expressed enthusiasm about bringing the quintessential honky-tonk experience to Houston. "We’re bringing a whole lot of romance, energy, and Texas-sized fun to this city," he said. With the hall's capacity to entertain up to 2,000 guests on busy nights, the venue plans to host various performances, including live acts by the popular honky-tonk band Runnin’ Behind and 12 to 15 national touring acts throughout the year.

More Than Just Dancing

Cowboys Red River Dance Hall is designed to cater to all aspects of a fun night out. Along with an expansive floor for dancing, patrons can enjoy pool tables, a lively mechanical bull, and special event services, making it an ideal venue for birthdays, bachelorette parties, and more. With 1,700 parking spots and free valet for unescorted ladies, this sure wins the heart of Houston locals looking for a good time.

Welcoming Community Engagement

This venue opens its doors at the perfect time for Houston residents seeking vibrant nightlife as warmer weather approaches. The community's excitement reflects a growing interest in engaging with local arts and culture offerings. Pairing a night out with excellent country music, dancing, and a sense of Southern hospitality strengthens community bonds and fosters a lively environment in the city.

Your Next Night Out Awaits

With its launch, Cowboys Red River is poised to become a favorite spot in Houston. The venue will be open from Wednesday to Saturday, 7 PM to 3 AM, making it an accessible option for young professionals and families alike. Don't miss this opportunity to lace up those cowboy boots and hit the dance floor.
